Testing now to see if it works. I think Insane Journal won't since Semagic gives me an error message about "malformed menus," but I think the others will appear. So goes phase three of the move away from LJ.

Te posted this essay on why what's happening to fanartists impacts all of us, but I didn't see a lot of discussion of it on my flist. Her essay made me think about the situation in ways I hadn't before, so I'm posting a link to it here for anyone who happened to miss it. While I'd already all but decided to delete my journal and move on, I feel like Te's thoughts in this post moved me to act. I find a wonderful symmetry in the fact Te, more than anyone else, drew me into fandom six year ago. All these years later, I still admire the fannish example she sets:
