You may be onto something here. Champagne and hot chocolate have been known to induce me to write porn, so the correlation between drinking and writing is clearly established.
As to the alcohol, of course I doubt every word the next day. Perhaps I shouldn't make any judgments about the work until tomorrow, when I don't have a hangover. ;)
(I know that maybe I shouldn't be encouraging alcohol use as a writing stimulant, but hey, I'm the cabal mod and we need all the help we can get!) (Plus, it's just a really good idea)
Oooh Oooh story drinking game(that you just inspired).
Rules: Do a shot to start first one to finish goes first. They start the story go for 2 minutes then the second person takes a shot and the story over. Repeat.
If someone says something to make everyone at the table laugh or giggle everyone else does a shot. If anyone says Um more than 2 times they do a shot. If the person telling the story doesn't last until 2 minutes they do an extra shot. Play for 20-30 minutes set a timer and when ever it goes off the person who is talking has to finish the story in 5 min or less. If they do a half ass good job everyone else drinks. If they flub it they drink one for everyone.
What do ya think? Wanna try it? I'll bring the red-head and bottle of Tequila :)
