Unfortunately for McCain, the two main points they make are very frail, considering that McCain's vice president has NO experience at the federal level and the Republican party in general has a highly consistent history of deficit spending. Reagan and Bush Sr. largely created the deficit that W then expanded. Clinton actually managed to create a balanced budget while he was in office.
