Despite low fever this morning I made myself go to work. Left a little early and got a speeding ticket on the way home.

You should all stop reading this lj now. You'll apparently find no good news here until summer.

ETA: I graded all ten of those papers I mentioned yesterday. Handed them back this afternoon. But now I want to sleep until next year. REALLY don't want to feel sick again tomorrow.

You're the lady of iron! Just think how hardworking, responsible, and disciplined you are (does that make you feel better or worse?). I hope you were able to enjoy the birthday dinner, that must have been rough.

Can't believe the b*st*rd ticketed you. Why didn't you barf on his shoes to let him know you were in frail health?

Heh. I waited for, "Do you know why I pulled you over?" which he inevitably would have followed with, "Is there an emergency?" Because I would have told him ALL about going to work feverish and coming home early because I felt terrible. *sigh* Alas, he never gave me the chance. Most silent cop EVAR.
