Okay, now this is typical me, and completely in line with my impostor syndrome. I tell you what a lazy Homer I am, and then I go and make all kinds of exec decissions and take all kinds of action.
I've taken the suggestions of
deadlychameleon and
mecurtin, and backdated an entry to create a space for squeeage, comments, and discussion of the fic and its management. I've kept to the original plan for THIS fic by deleting all comments that aren't actual sections of fic so you can follow the story from comment to comment. I deleted non-fic comments with much hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth, but also with much love to everyone who took the time to add those comments.
I made a decission (that looks like it's spelled wrong, but am I looking it up? no. maybe tomorrow), to take
mecurtin's suggestion that we post new sections as new posts, but in the NEXT fic, not this one. For this one we'll continue new posts in comments, as we've done so far. That's to make my life easier. I admit it. RL intrudes.
Which brings me to a nice place for a reminder. This fic ends January 14, when the next ep airs. Okay, I'm probably flexible if it's really too good to let go at that point, but regardless, we'll start a new fic after we see "Asylum." That's when we'll try the post-not-comment method. The advantage of what we do now is that we don't HAVE to end THIS story before we start the next one if it would break our hearts to do so. Personally? I'm pretty attached.
And grateful for all the suggestions and help y'all have provided.
K. Done.
